In 6 episodes, the British mini-series Wolf adapts a thriller by Mo Hayder, entitled Viscerathe last in his literary series devoted to the investigations of police inspector Jack Caffery.
Played on screen by Ukweli Roach, this man is traumatized by the disappearance of his little brother in the 90s. Twenty years later, installed in the house in which he grew up after the death of his parents, Jack is convinced that his neighbor is responsible for this tragedy, going so far as to be obsessed by his slightest actions. His investigation, however, leads him towards a completely different mystery…
For their part, the Anchor-Ferrers family has returned from London to their isolated home in Monmouthshire, but several strange phenomena disrupt their tranquility. Her phone line is cut, and an incident in the garden forces Matilda and her family to rethink a tragic event from the past. The unexpected arrival of two inspectors increases the household’s concern.
