Available from February 1 on Prime Video, the French series Nudes should appeal to Euphoria fans: romantic excitement, cyber-harassment, sexual blackmail… The first images announce a sensual series, but above all social and touching.
The worthy heir of Euphoria
Skins, Skam and more recently Euphoria… Teen series appeal to young people by tackling subjects that are specific to them, such as first romantic feelings, high school parties and other new experiences. Result ? An almost guaranteed success with young spectators, for whom identification is immediate. Especially since the spectrum of themes covered is increasingly broad and over time addresses new subjects, more topical than ever.
The announcement by Prime Video of a teen series made in France therefore aroused the curiosity of spectators. Available from February 1 on the platform, Nudes should find its audience and create an event at the start of the year. Its first trailer, revealed recently, confirms that the series follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, but also that it will address themes that are more modern and current than ever!

A modern and daring teen series
Even more thanEuphoria, Nude takes the challenge of evoking the risks encountered by a young generation whose seduction processes are now closely linked to digital technology: sexual blackmail, cyber-harassment, revenge porn… At least that’s what the first trailer for the series, as sulfurous as it is intriguing. Indeed, between two evenings where kisses are shared in an immutable romantic tradition, realistic and serious situations stand out. On the previously curious and excited faces then appears embarrassment, even shame.

Those responsible for this malaise? Of the “nudes”, at the heart of the series as its title indicates, sent or suffered by Sofia (Léonie Dahan-Lamort), Ada (Sacha Lauras) and Victor (Baptiste Masseline). The first is a high school student torn by her sexuality and the social determinism from which she suffers in spite of herself; the second is a young schoolgirl from the provinces who is the victim of online child abuse; the third, a medical student, sees his destiny and that of a friend change completely when a banal joke turns into harassment…
