Do you support your favorite creators on a funding platform?

While Utip has just closed its doors, do you finance your favorite creators, punctually or regularly? Tell us in our poll of the week.

This week, we learned that one of the main crowdfunding platforms in France, Utip, had closed its doors. For a lot of creators, it was a massive blow with a big chunk of their income disappearing overnight.

However, several alternatives have emerged in recent years in the field of crowdfunding. In addition to the services created to finance a project at once, more and more platforms now make it possible to remunerate a content creator each month to enable him to live from his activity. In addition to dedicated services, such as Patreon, Tipeee or Utip, content platforms themselves now offer to financially support certain creators on a recurring basis. This is the case of Twitch with the “subs» or from YouTube with the button «join“. In addition, other services, such as Bits, Ko-fi or Buy me a Coffee, allow you to give from time to time, according to your desire.

While some content creators live largely from advertising or product placements, others rely primarily on subscriptions from their community to live.

Do you fund your favorite content creators directly?

For your part, do you also financially support one or more creators? And if so, how? With episodic donations, participation in one-off campaigns or with recurring subscriptions? Tell us all in our poll of the week.
