This Wednesday March 20, TF1 is broadcasting the first two episodes of season 3 of “Doc”. The opportunity for viewers to discover a new side of Andrea Fanti, as revealed by his interpreter Luca Argentero.

After almost two years of waiting, Andrea Fanti will make her comeback on TF1. This Wednesday, March 20 from 9:10 p.m., the channel will broadcast the first two episodes of Doc, the Italian medical series hosted by Luca Argentero.

At the end of season 2, Andrea Fanti and the doctors in the hospital’s internal medicine department had to deal with a Klebsiella outbreak that had put the lives of some members of the team in great danger.

While they found themselves in quarantine, Ricardo (Pierpaolo Spollon), was watched day and night by Alba (Silvia Mazzieri). Unfortunately, if the young man managed to survive the illness, Alba lost her life due to the treatment.

A season 3 which looks back on Andrea Fanti’s past

This season 3 of Doc will resume a few months after these events. Andréa is settling into her new role as head of the internal department, even if a new administrative director is making life difficult for her.

The Doc also tries to regain his memories, which disappeared following his head trauma, thanks to a new treatment. Agnès, for her part, ends up accepting the position of director of the hospital. As for Julia, she is putting her love life in order.

This season 3 will also immerse us in Doctor Fanti’s past in order to understand how he became the self-absorbed man he was before his accident. “You will see the dark side of the force,” he explained to the Italian version of Hollywood Reporter.

We will understand why he became such an asshole head doctor and what transformed him into a monster. We will explore everything that was left unresolved in his past. The idea that he only became evil after the death of his son and because he is no longer with his wife is a bit simplistic. What made him so cynical and ruthless? We will find out in the first episodes.”

New characters

As usual, season 3 of Doc will be marked by the arrival of new doctors to replenish the ranks of the internal medicine department. Giacomo Giorgio thus lends his features to Federico Lentini, son of an esteemed Milanese ophthalmologist who finds himself almost against his will following his father’s path.

Laura Cravedi is Martina Carelli, a smart and brilliant woman who hides a secret that could change everything. Finally, Elisa Wong plays Lin Wing, a young woman who has devoted herself body and soul to medicine, and who seeks to help others.

Catch the new season 3 of Doc with two episodes per evening from this Wednesday March 20 from 9:10 p.m. on TF1.
