Docaposte has created a data and artificial intelligence center bringing together more than 400 experts. This new division will be led by Guillaume Leboucher, founder and CEO of Openvalue, a start-up acquired by La Poste in April 2021.

After having been the engine of the digital transformation of La Poste, Docaposte intends to become one of the major players in digital transformation in France, facing giants in the sector such as Accenture or Fabernovel. With this in mind, the digital branch of La Poste has just created a data and artificial intelligence center bringing together more than 400 experts.

They will work on four fields of artificial intelligence, namely the machine learningthe deep learningnatural language processing (NLP) and computer vision. The division will be led by Guillaume Leboucher, founder and CEO of Openvalue, a start-up acquired by La Poste in April 2021.

This new division was created thanks to the acquisitions of ProbaYes in 2016, Softeam in 2019, and therefore Openvalue in 2021. It was with the acquisition of Softeam that Docaposte changed in scope, the operation giving birth to a new group of more than 6,400 employees who are aiming for 1 billion euros in turnover by 2023. Docaposte’s objective: to become the leader in digital transformation in four verticals: banking-insurance, e-health, the public sector and SMEs.
