A direct sequel to “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, the long-awaited “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” immerses us in the intricacies of the multiverse through new images, which reveal a character well known to fans.

It didn’t take long for Marvel Studios to respond to the images unveiled by competitor DC Comics on the sidelines of SuperBowl LVI. And it is a new trailer of more than two minutes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness which has been launched on the screens, offering fans as many new sequences as new questions.
Among these, the appearance, from behind, of a character whose look and voice seem to evoke the one and only Professor X of the X-Men, still played by Patrick Stewart. Enough to fuel the rumors around the feature film by Sam Raimi, which could summon, via the multiverse and the variants, many Marvel characters, from Wolverine to Cyclops via … Iron Man version Tom Cruise. “We should tell him the truth” : it will be known on May 4th.
In the meantime, the trailer confirms the presence of the sprawling villain Shuma-Gorath and a demonic variant of Strange, the return of Chiwetel Ejiofor as Mordo and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer, the presence of Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez as well as very clear links with the Marvel Loki and WandaVision series, notably through a dual Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch role for Elizabeth Olsen.
