Serious allegations of abuse against “Doctor Strange” star Zara Phythian: According to “BBC”, the actress is on trial in Nottingham.
Actress Zara Phythian (36), who starred in “Doctor Strange” (2016) with Benedict Cumberbatch (45), is according to “BBC” in court. She and her husband are accused of numerous sex offenses, according to the report. It’s about the alleged abuse of a 13-year-old girl.
According to the British broadcaster, the now-adult woman told the police that the couple is said to have filmed most of the alleged abuse. The two suspects deny all of the crimes they are accused of.
Deeds are said to have taken place from 2005 onwards
The jury at Nottingham Crown Court had now been played a statement by the woman to the police, reports “bbc.com”. In it she is said to have described details of her allegations. The crimes are said to have taken place between 2005 and 2008 when she was between 13 and 15 years old.
Zara Phythian and her husband were apparently working as martial arts teachers at the time. According to the report, they were charged with a total of 14 counts.
