Doctor Who Season 14: Storyline

With the return of former showrunner Russell T Davies, however, things are set to change. “As with any change of Doctor and showrunner, we’re going to be radical […] The change is coming,” said Piers Wenger, Director for Drama at the BBC.

In the Flux finale, the queer love between Yaz and the Doctor was hinted at. So it’s quite possible that the 14th Doctor will be queer.

Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Special

In October 2022 you can expect the 3rd episode of the “Doctor Who” special on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the series. Episode 1 was shown in January 2022, Episode 2 in April 2022.

It has now been revealed that “How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris is filming some scenes for a new special that is scheduled to air in 2023.

Showrunner Russell T Davies said: “It’s a great honor to open our studio doors to the amazing Neil Patrick Harris… but who, why, what is he playing? You’ll just have to wait and see. But I promise you, what we’re filming is absolutely amazing. Careful, Doctor!”
