According to the indictment, it was contaminated with an intestinal bacterium – the patients suffered from sepsis. “I’m sorry” for everything, said the accused doctor, “but my behavior certainly didn’t lead to death,” he said. He’s doing the same now in the new trial for fatal bodily harm – penalty range from one to 15 years in prison: “I’ve been a doctor for 35 years without a single incident.” No E. coli bacteria in Propofol His lawyer Michael Dohr has many questions. So he had the propofol examined in a special laboratory in Munich (D) – no trace of E. coli bacteria!
