“A suffering profession cannot accept additional constraints, we need the means to take care of the real health needs of the population. Only the treating general practitioner can face this objective, if and only if he is given the means. HAS the opposite, if the government persists, the health disaster is assured! »write the six organizations (CSMF, MG France, Avenir Spé, UFML, FMF and SML) in a joint statement.

The talks with Health Insurance started in November should lead by the end of February to a new agreement setting the rates for private doctors for the next five years, as well as their objectives in terms of access to care and of public health. However, the unions consider that these negotiations “are placed under the supervision of several legislative texts”including the bill of the deputy (Renaissance) Stéphanie Rist.

The text, which aims to allow “direct access” – without medical prescription – to nurses told “advanced practice” as well as physiotherapists and speech therapists, was voted unanimously at first reading on Thursday in the Assembly. It will be considered by the Senate on February 14. Dreading “the end of parity”medical unions “demand that the negotiation is not done under duress” and claim “a favorable and strong signal from the government” to resume discussion.
