In the documentary “House of Hammer” women have their say who accuse actor Armie Hammer of abuse and cannibalistic fantasies.

A three-part documentary series by discovery+ deals with the scandal involving actor Armie Hammer (35). In early 2021, several women had made allegations of physical and psychological abuse against the star. The actor denied all allegations, but lost many roles in cinema, TV and Broadway productions. A first trailer the documentary shows Hammer’s ex-girlfriends Courtney Vucekovich and Julia Morrison, who paint a bleak picture of the actor in their statements. In addition, Hammer’s aunt Casey Hammer talks about the apparently dark past of the Hammer dynasty.

“In the beginning I had the feeling that everything was perfect, it was incredible,” says Vucekovich about the early days with the actor, who gave her many compliments. But then things changed and he tested her limits more and more. Both women reveal disturbing text messages and voice memos they claim to have received from the actor. “He said, ‘I’m 100 percent a cannibal,'” says Vucekovich. That was all “he ever wanted to talk about,” Julia Morrison confirms the alleged cannibalistic fantasies. Vucekovich claims Hammer also tied her up until she was “completely immobilized”. “I closed my eyes until it was over.”

history of a dynasty

“When all of this came out about Armie, I wasn’t shocked,” says Casey Hammer in the trailer. “You don’t just wake up and become this dark controller, this abuser. This behavior is ingrained.” Armie Hammer is the son of businessman Michael Armand Hammer and great-grandson of the late industrialist Armand Hammer (1898-1990). Archival footage and interviews with survivors and family members unveil “the dark and tangled secrets of the Hammer family,” according to the documentary.

“House of Hammer” is available from September 2nd on discovery+.
