Like every year at the same period, Brigitte Macron leads an operation that is close to his heart and who has long known the help of Bernadette Chirac : the yellow parts operation. Alongside different personalities, sometimes godparents, Emmanuel Macron’s wife does everything to raise as much money as possible, so as to be able to improve hospitalization conditions for children and adolescents. Last year, for example, a prime-time broadcast on TF1 was organized to bring more visibility to this action. Invited on RTL Friday January 26, 2024 to discuss the subject, but still questioned to know whether or not she had suggested to her husband the idea of ban children from using screens (a point mentioned in the President’s press conference last week), the one who had the chance to meet Nathalie Portman wanted to set the record straight, visibly annoyed. “Manipulation, never”she asserted, before mentioning those who spread the rumors: “It amuses them, it annoys me.”

Always up against the spreaders of false informationthe one who recently gave her opinion on the Depardieu affair (but did not wish to comment on her husband’s comments) wanted to insist. “Look at the character of the President, he is not a person who allows himself to be manipulated”, she said. And to continue: “He knows what he needs to do; he doesn’t need me.” If Brigitte Macron does not influence the President in its political decisions, however, it does not hesitate to give his opinion, and sometimes even advise him. “I also give my opinion”she clarified, before explaining: “When we don’t agree we discuss, as happens in all couples!” And while she was talking about the harmful effects of screens on the development of children, and the way in which she tries as best she can to limit them at home, the First Lady let slip an adorable anecdote to say the least… The nickname given to him by members of his family, and in particular his grandchildren: “Grandma Bibi” !
