It’s a departure that no one suspected. At the end of June, the first rumors concerning Sophie Davant’s departure from the show Deal done were starting to make the rounds in the media. Rumors quickly confirmed by production and by the host herself. It was therefore after six years of service that she left the program to fly to Europe 1. In fact, her departure followed a proposal from the station. The group wanted her to come and host a show from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sophie Davant therefore requested the agreement of France Télévisions, but they refused, not wanting William Leymergie’s partner to find herself on the same slot on two different media. Sophie Davant therefore made a heartfelt and risky choice, namely that of radio. A departure fromDeal done which was not done without emotion. In the media, the host does not hesitate to share the sadness that she can still feel today. Friday September 15, 2023, she confided her nostalgia to Buzz TV : “Quite honestly, watch Deal done is very difficult and painful for me. Like when It’s on the program had stopped. I had trouble watching morning shows. I am very emotional”.

A decision she regrets? That doesn’t seem to be the case either. Saturday January 20, 2024, Sophie Davant spoke in the columns of TV Star.
