Does Warzone 2.0 have bots?

In most battle royales, developers integrate bots into their game, like PUBG or Fortnite, at least at certain times. It is therefore natural that the community wonders if Warzone 2.0the new battle royale in the universe of call of dutyand closely related to Modern Warfare 2, has bots or not.

Are there bots in Warzone 2.0?

Technically, the answer is yes, there are bots in all game modes in Warzone 2.0. But these are not classic bots, but rather AI/mobs, which defend points of interest. As part of the normal battle royale, you will find bots at the Fortresses, materialized by a small image in the shape of a tower on the map, and the black sites. Of course, if bots aren’t too hard to defeattheir large number will increase the difficulty, without forgetting the other players, who would also like to collect the resources and take advantage of all that the Fortresses offer for you.

Regarding bots as suchan AI that controls a normal player, such as you, it would seem that Warzone 2.0 does not offer any, even if you are new to the battle royale. You will be, from the beginning, confronted with other players, sometimes having much more experience than you. But with 150 players per game, you should still find opponents at your level, if the matchmaking is done well.

Finally, on the side of the DMZ mode, the PvPvE mode, bots are much more present, since we find them in each point of interest and are sometimes accompanied by a boss. This makes it easier to test certain weapons, but also to gain experience easily, by killing a plethora of these AI fighters, quite robust for some.

Warzone 2.0 remains available for free on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Series. You can also take advantage of a third list of the best weapons to perfect your debut on the battle royale.
