A few weeks after the Krosmonote, the Forgellances will arrive on Dofus in beta with the 2.66 update! However, they won’t be the only major part of this 2022 end-of-year patch…
DOFUS 2.66: The Forgellances in beta, a first release date for the new class
The new Dofus class is getting closer to the game’s servers every day! Its next step is the beta of update 2.66, with a release date for the latter of Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Prepare your best Lances to attack the “big end of year content” like described it Logan, producer, during the Krosmonote 2022.
In addition to the Forgellances, you will be able to find:
- 3 new areas, with 4 level 50 to 200 bosses, in the Valonia Archipelago. They are all related to Lance Dur, Ankama’s future series
- New questlines and possibly the Eliocalypse “Point d’Orgue”
- A host of outfits and equipment
- A new Weapon type: Spears (and the transformation of old items to this type)
- The end of the automatic quest start on Kwismas Island
- Balancing and corrections of classes in shambles
This is just the tip of the Changelog 2.66 iceberg. Dofus will undergo other changes during this beta that we will hasten to synthesize.
As for the Beta, this one will be in “ semi duty free“. Existing characters will be imported if they logged in as a subscriber within the last 3 months. In addition, NPCs will be available on Astrub with experience scrolls and the latest items to do your tests, both in Forgellances and Valonia areas.
And for the release date on classic servers?
Dofus update 2.66 will be present on beta on November 15, 2022. With generally 2 to 3 weeks of testing and according to the usual annual planning, this should arrive by December 6 or 13.
