DOFUS 2.67: Feedback on the overhaul of Alliances and AvA

After an initial proposal by Ankama in November, the Dofus teams are coming back with small revisions. Players’ feedback has been numerous and obviously has not fallen on deaf ears.

Ankama modifies its redesign of the AvA and Dofus alliances

During a long pavement, the Game Designers were able to detail this Monday a new presentation of the great overhaul expected from the alliances. As a reminder, a first devblog arrived at the end of 2022. Indeed, these modifications were initially to be inserted in 2.66, before being postponed to the first update of 2023.

Anyway, several changes are proposed compared to the last time. We strongly urge you to check out episode 1 before moving on. For example, we can start with the size of future alliances (separate from guilds) going from 200 to 250 players. However, this is far from the only editing.

Collectors and Defense

Perceptors will still remain controllable, but the format is back to 5v5+1. Obviously, Ankama is planning a drop in the power initially planned to match this change. Customizations with equipment and spells are also still on the program.

A new interface for Collectors on Dofus

In terms of card placements in defense, they become 100% random and independent of those currently present in PvM. Thus, it will be impossible to predict the slots for both attackers and defenders.

Crystals and Prisms

The change of modules will now be with a delay to limit abuse. It will therefore no longer be possible to instantly change a teleportation for recycling and invalidate the modification of recyclers.

On the crystal side, the peacemaker crystal is now incompatible with the use of a prism module. For the Inhibitor, it will now reduce the impact of recycling on durability by half.

KOTH Changes

As with champions, all roles will have a presence limit per alliance. It will only be valid in an area in KOTH, between all members simultaneously. Thus, it will be possible to follow each other. Another novelty; only members present for at least 48 hours will be able to participate in conquests.

  • Champions: 1
  • Indicator: 10
  • Scout: 50
  • Healer: 100
  • Vigilante: 150
  • Undertaker :
  • 150 Cannon Fodder (default role): 250
Some improvements on the KOTH interface

In addition to a small respite before handing in a prism, winning alliances will also automatically gain invulnerability to attacks at the end of a KOTH. This time will be shortened depending on the number of territories conquered to favor smaller organizations.

DOFUS 2.67 and the AvA redesign, when is it?

Ankama plans to back Alliance against Alliance to… No! It’s for next month, in March 2023 (on this account, you might as well specify the year). You will finally be able to discover all this in beta, and not wait another year.
