DOFUS: Cra 2.64, class balancing, nerf or upgrade?


The Cra is the new problem class in Dofus! After the Osamodas and the Sacrier, it seems that he is becoming a regular fan of balancing. And it will still be the case with the 2.64 update, retouching it quite severely in several areas.

Too simple, the Cra class is eternally unsatisfied. Even after many balancing and redesigning, its gameplay still poses as much of a problem. To deal with this problem, this new change pass hits hard. Thus, several spells are removed or merged to make room. The goal ? Strengthen the protection and control capacities of the Cra. The little bonus? A trap on another class than the Sram!

You will note the removal of Critical Shot, Abolition Arrow and Healing Arrow. Very specific choices, but rest assured, they are compensated! Indeed, you will notably be able to find a critical bonus on Powerful Shot.

New spells

The Cra wins with 2.64 two spells with staggered effects as well as a trap. Quite special tools and more or less directly inspired by Touch, where the class recently had the right to a major overhaul.

  • Mirror with larks : This is the famous trap. Occupies a single cell. If activated, removes up to 2 dodgeable MP and attracts in a cross of 3 towards the center. Costs 2 AP and launches up to 4 Range without line of sight. Combable with a beacon to replace concentration. Has 2 reroll turns and is the Eye for an Eye variant.
  • An eye for an eye : Pushes the target 2 cells and steals range if it is an enemy. If the target is an enemy, it moves back 2 squares again with each attack on the Cra, losing range. If it’s an ally, apply the same effects but from the ally. Costs 3 AP and launches every 3 turns. This is the variant of Lark Mirror.
  • Vendetta : Increases the Critical Strikes of the ally or of oneself. Each time an enemy attacks, he will suffer an increase in his damage (5% each time for 1 turn, stacking 3). Costs 2 AP with 2 reroll rounds. Variant of Sentinel.
