Almost 5 years after the first wave, the “main” servers of Dofus will merge again. Fusion is coming again and that’s good news. Ankama’s goal is to revitalize the MMO’s economy and population, which are still too scattered. Even Ilyzaelle will have the right to her fusion!

Dofus servers will remerge soon
The number of players on Dofus is relatively stable. However, even in the era of mergers, there were obvious disparities between big servers like Meriana, Ilyzaelle or Ush versus Furye or Merkator. If actions are taken to increase the population (Default redirection for newcomers), it is clear that Temporis is unable to effectively bring back the old ones in the long term.
The idea of a new merger has therefore gradually spread, from forums to social networks and Discord servers. ” And if ? “. A recurrence which, over the months, has changed Ankama’s communication. Indeed, very recently, the Temporis 7 Aris server was the first to benefit from this technical development.
For the first time, servers already merged from Dofus 2 were merged into one. Mount certificates, houses and paddocks were gaining pending. All this without causing any problems, to the delight of the players. Now it’s time for the next step: Classic servers turn!
When will the new Dofus servers merge?
The Dofus team predicts the wave for mid-September to October. The first to merge will be the internationals Echo, Crocabulia, Atcham, and Rubilax. This merger will take place on October 11th.
Another wave will occur on October 25 with 2 mergers and a final one on November 2. The final compositions and names are currently unavailable. The FAQ however clarifies that there will only be one single account server left and that ALL servers will go through a merge. Yes, Ilyzaelle and Jahash will merge.
Some details about mergers
In order to fully proceed with the mergers, several information has been disclosed in the various FAQs. Compared to the previous ones, the editorial staff noted on the fusion side of Dofus:
- Only 7 servers (1 single-account server, 1 international server, 4 multi-account servers and 1 epic server)
- Removal of abandoned houses and enclosures
- Agride will lose its anti-bot specificities and merge
- RP and PvP communities are not taken into account for groups, too little quantifiable
- It’s more about technical opportunities. The population of Dofus servers would be “stable” according to the team.
- The names of the future servers are already defined, including Draconiros (source: Logan during a live at Japan Expo). The others are unknown
- Useless or permanently banned (botting) accounts will be deleted
- Maintenance times should be reduced after the merger, with 9 fewer servers to monitor
