A few months after Tot’s leak, the new class of Dofus is finally revealed in a more “conventional” way. The teams of the game have through a “Forgenews” confirmed its name: The Forgelance Legacy. That’s not all, since his roles were also present.
DOFUS FORGENEWS: The Legacy of the Forgelance, a new class of Lance Dur, is finally revealed
Some will have guessed it; The new class of Dofus is heavily based on the universe of Lance Dur. For those who still don’t have the memo, this is Ankama’s new animated series, which will appear by the end of the year. For the occasion, the company has dedicated a website with a communication plan around this transmedia project. On the World of Twelve side, players will be able to embody the Legacy of the Forgelance and browse an extension at the end of the year. All content which, as a reminder, had been leaked by ToT a few months earlier.
The new class will not be based on an existing nation or ethnicity (Crocodailles, Nimbos), but purely on the order of the Forgellances, specific to Lance Dur. It will be entirely exclusive to the MMO Dofus PC. For Dofus Touch, Waven, and Wakfu, it will be more of a new area to roam. As for the class roles, this one will respond to Damage, Placement and Protection!
No other information is currently known about the Legacy of the Forgelance
Games area: Albuera
In addition to a class, Ankama’s games will also benefit from extensions in the Lance Dur universe. The story taking place in the Krosmoz, its places will obviously be visitable, regardless of the time period of the game. The main one will be Albuera, city of the series and present in all eras. Note, however, that for Wakfu, the team is only planning one Boss for the end of the year, which would quickly become “iconic”.
Each game will win its own version of the city, very mountainous with wooden chalets and snow. For those playing in the Taïgas of Minecraft, or the Frigost Pre-Glaciation of Dofus Touch, you should not be out of place!
Finally, the characters of the series will also find themselves in the World of Twelve. Depending on your era, these will have appropriate Chara Designs. It is assumed very strongly that they should have their own involvement in the content offered in the city, whether for quests or achievements.
