In recent weeks, the Veteran Rewards system has caused a lot of ink to flow on the Dofus forum. Following the end of the rewards, players, especially the oldest, expressed some dissatisfaction with the “finale ” from the program.
A new ornament and 10,000 ogrines for former Dofus players
Since 2014, Dofus has offered a loyalty system for its former players. Depending on their number of days of accumulated subscription, they can recover different cosmetics, exclusive, for free according to different levels. There is mainly a panoply of pageantry, an attitude and a mount per year. However, after 16 years, Ankama is reconsidering this choice. The number of beneficiaries of this system being extremely low on the last levels, the team will cut the bridge for new objects by more or less officially putting a stop date.
Indeed, from the sixteenth year, players will now receive 10,000 Ogrines per year to spend. This still represents a good sum, resulting more or less in a reduction of 15 to 25% of the price of the subscription depending on the duration chosen. This did not prevent several complaints on this decision, in particular vis-a-vis the uninterrupted flow of apartments in the shop. Thus, Ankama has slightly revised its roadmap. In addition to the annual Ogrines, you can also receive an exclusive Ornament and a “Veteran” title. The end was too brutal and contrasted with the general objective of the Rewards. A decision that seems appropriate for the moment even if the regrets regarding the cancellation of the program remain.
All the rewards, if you have reached 5,760 days of subscription, will be available in your Ankama Gift Space, in game, on the launcher or on the site, in the form of a birthday token. They are not compatible with Dofus Retro.
