Big meeting at the end of each temporary edition, the final tournament will be a Goultarminator on Temporis Retro! Organized by the KTA, it uses many rules from the very first edition of the Goultarminator. But also today’s advantages on how tournaments work and the possibilities at stake. This was one of the announcements in Ankama Live TempoHebdo on February 23.
Goultarminator, rules and format
For this edition of the Goultarminator, no selection via tests. Each guild will be able to participate by proposing 1 representative per class (with optional replacements).
There will therefore be 4 teams of 3 players per guild, as for the very first edition of Temporis. No composition restrictions are planned: if you put all the strong classes together, your other teams will automatically be less good.
Several conditions must be met in order to participate:
- The guild must be at least level 30.
- Characters must be at least level 150.
Tournament server and progress
The Goultarminator Temporis Retro takes place on a tournament server and the characters will automatically be at level 200. However, you will need to provide your own stuff, taking into account a limitation of 18 AP+MP in total (i.e. 13/5, 12/6, 11/7 etc). Dragoturkeys and Pets will be provided and the rest will be unlimited.
On the other hand, no possible exchange, no blessing, no class passive and no Glutton. Shields up to Rank 4 will be allowed for all players.
There will be 7 Swiss rounds in total. Each guild’s teams will be independent. Don’t worry, you won’t be able to face another team from your own guild! If Overwhelming Victory (less than 8 rounds), a points bonus is awarded.
Endgames for Top 16 Guilds (not teams). Matches will be spread out as much as possible to allow players from each guild to watch their teammates play.
The tiebreaker matches will take place in a simplified draft. Which means :
- Each team bans 3 classes from the opposing team (so 3 players).
- The compositions are made blind from the remaining 9 classes for each team.
Calendar, registrations and rewards
The rewards see the return of a legendary panoply which a priori only exists in a single copy. An emoticon will also be up for grabs. Each of the 12 players in the guild will earn the reward.
- For the Top 1 : Champion Set + 1 Year Subscription Pack
- Top 2 : 6 month subscription pack
- Top 3 : 3 month subscription pack
Inscriptions begin next March 8 at 2 p.m.. They end a week later, March 15 at 2 p.m..
The matches will take place from March 21 to April 3, 2022, from 8 p.m.
