Among the balances of update 1.55 of Dofus Touch, the yup is particularly in the sights of the game team. The class is undergoing heavy changes, bringing a fresh wind to its gameplay on its different paths. We can almost speak of a redesign, even if the word is strangely absent from the devblog.
Iop on Dofus TOUCH in 2022, class balancing leading to an overhaul?
Note that our assessment of changes remains subjective and depends entirely on the vision of the editorial staff. However, this session is rather beneficial on classes with few nerfs.
- Nerve : The spell is less powerful
- Neutral : The fate remains more or less the same / The changes offset each other / The change is to be taken as a whole on the class
- UP : The spell is more powerful
General
To correspond to its new tools, the Iop sees its levels of characteristics refurbished. Therefore, he thus benefits from better Earth, Fire and Air paths without having as many sacrifices (only a damage adaptation). As a reminder, apart from Wisdom and Vitality, the tiers are:
- 1 for 1 up to 100;
- 2 for 1 up to 200;
- 3 for 1 up to 300;
- 4 to 1 up to 400;
- 5 to 1 over 400.
You will also note the removal of 3 spells: Friction, Vitality and Poutch. Their mechanics are either completely removed or merged with others. The release of these 3 slots allows the creation of elementary spells.

Findings
To conclude, what to remember from the Iop in 1.55? Overall, the class is greatly improving and diversifying. Admittedly, it suffers a few damage reductions, but only on the tracks formerly left behind because of the bearings. Indeed, these are therefore slight adaptations, as was the case for Dofus 2. Thus, there is really nothing to worry about, your Iop earns much more than it loses!
