In this “petavers”, an immersive virtual world for pets, players will be able to take care of their dog, groom it, feed it and even teach it tricks. To adopt your animal 3.0, Dogami has created a marketplace, available from its site. Each Dogami is unique. He has his own physical characteristics and his own personality. However, these criteria are assigned randomly and breeders only discover the pedigree of their e-doggie once it has been purchased. In addition to its properties, each dog is classified according to a rarity system (Diamond, the most wanted, Gold, Silver and Bronze). The rarer (and therefore more expensive) your virtual companion is, the more tokens he gets as a reward: the Doga, the cryptocurrency integrated into the game.
Dogami is a type game play-to-earn, which could be translated as “playing to make money”. The more a player takes care of his Dogami and builds a relationship with him, the more Doga he will earn which can be exchanged for dollars or euros (after conversion into Tezos).

For now, the game is still in the launch phase. It is possible to see your puppy and resell it on the market, but not to play or teach it tricks. The most important step should arrive in July. At that point, it should be possible to download the game to your smartphone and access the “puppy phase”, or the dog’s learning phase. The breeder will finally be able to interact with his animal and improve its characteristics. Once you reach the adult stage, the game changes radically. It’s time for your cryptopuppy to embrace a career and rise in rank, for example in the police, firefighters, skating, farmer, space or even yoga. To reward the best puppies (and the most brilliant players), the game will integrate a table of the best masters.
This ranking will be very important for one of the essential mechanics of the game: mating. When two virtual animals give birth to a new Dogami, one of the masters leaves with the newborn, the other with pockets full of Doga.
