On the strategic axis of land and maritime renewable energy services, Maintcontrol will significantly strengthen the offer of 8.2 France integrated into DOLFINES in October 2021. Maintcontrol’s expertise in the fields of data acquisition and exploitation continuously contributes directly to optimizing the operation of onshore and offshore wind farms.

Created in 2004, Maintcontrol is based in Valergues (Hérault). It acts as a study and expertise office to provide its customers with its independent know-how in control and condition-based maintenance by using the following techniques:
Vibration analysis: with 2,500 wind turbines checked and analysed, Maintcontrol is the leading independent company in France for this type of check.
Motion amplification technology measures vibrations from a distance by artificially amplifying actual vibrations to make them visible to the naked eye. It converts each pixel of the high-resolution camera into a “sensor” capable of measuring vibration with unparalleled levels of precision.
Infrared thermography allows the detection of faults in all electrical installations. This preventive maintenance identifies abnormal overheating points in order to recommend any corrective and/or preventive measures.
Video endoscopy, a control technique for visualizing anomalies detected by vibration controls on rotating machines. It makes it possible to take a quick decision on whether or not to replace a part.
In 2021, Maintcontrol generated revenue of €538,000, including 14% internationally, in the renewable energy markets (wind and hydraulic).
