Dollar Tree: EPS target range lowered

(CercleFinance.com) – Dollar Tree indicates to revise its outlook for annual EPS to between 5.73 and 6.13 dollars (instead of 6.30 to 6.80 dollars, three months ago), and to tighten its range- sales target at between 30 and 30.5 billion dollars (instead of 29.9 to 30.5 billion).

“While we are seeing early results from our initiatives, we are not immune to external pressures that are affecting the entire retail business,” said the discount chain’s CEO, Rick Dreiling.

Over the first three months of the year, Dollar Tree earned adjusted EPS of $1.47, down 38%, for revenues of $7.32 billion, up 6.1% as reported and 4.8% like-for-like.
