Country legend Dolly Parton (77) has been happily married for 57 years. The singer is about to celebrate her diamond wedding with her husband Carl Dean (81) in a few years. Parton has now revealed the secret to her happy marriage in a BBC radio show. “We are open and honest with each other and both have a quirky sense of humor,” she said According to “Daily Mail” on Thursday (November 9th) on Zoe Ball’s (52) “Radio 2 Breakfast Show”.
A good portion of fun and humor is what makes everyday life sweeter. Her husband, whom she met in a laundromat in Nashville in 1964, was “crazy, very funny and clever. And I got a great sense of humor from both sides of my family,” said the “Jolene” singer.
