Dolmen hasn’t been much talked about in recent months, but the action role-playing game of Massive Work Studio and PrimeMatter (Koch Media) is expected later this year on computers and home consoles. Fortunately, the studios are back with a new trailer :
As the video above reveals, Dolmen release date is set for May 20, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The title will notably offer fights against bosses with a gameplay demanding, but players will be able to join friends online to face them together through multiplayer modes. Dolmen takes place in a sci-fi universe where humanity has colonized many star systems, using space travel technology and genetic manipulation to adapt to any condition.
The Reviam system is located far from the main habitation area of the galaxy, but attracts the attention of Zoan Corp., because of the radiation emitted which differs from the other systems, suggesting the existence of other universes. Only the planet Revion Prime is there.
Prior to these events, there was no evidence of the existence of other dimensions. The scientific and military interests behind this discovery could destabilize the political balance. However, research on Revion Prime also revealed the existence of an alien species called Vahani, whose purpose is to traverse the universe to help other species evolve. Their intentions are obscure and it remains to be seen if the creation of xeno-species might have been influenced by them. The player must then uncover the secrets of Revion Prime and Dolmen Crystals.
Dolmen will finally be entitled to a Day One Edition with items to upgrade the character through full armor, sword and axe. You can pre-order this edition at €39.99 on Amazon.
