Dolph Lundgren is under the hood for the second time. At the age of 65, the Swedish action star dared to step down the aisle again and married his great love Emma Krokdal.
Dolph Lundgren has said “yes” again
Dolph Lundgren spread the first wedding rumors with a couple photo from the pool, to which he wrote on Instagram a few days ago: “Tomorrow is the day. Mykonos”. Now the “Rocky IV” star has confirmed his marriage. In a statement to “People”, he and his wife Emma reveal details of their dream day.
“We decided to celebrate our love by getting married at our villa in Mykonos with family and some close friends. As we both had Covid and have come a long way with challenging medical treatments, we have had to keep putting our marriage plans on hold,” the newly wed couple explained. Dolph and Emma “felt it was finally the right time to celebrate love, life and happiness — in the land of the gods.”
Engagement in June 2020
A good three years ago, in June 2020, the action star proposed to the Norwegian personal trainer. Dolph announced the engagement on Instagram at the time with a photo of the engagement ring. He wrote: “Something very special happened here in Sweden”.
It is Lundgren’s second marriage. From 1994 to 2011, the “Masters of the Universe” star was married to American fashion and jewelry designer Anette Qviberg, 57. The relationship has grown-up daughters Ida, 27, and Greta Lundgren, 21.
