While it is obviously forbidden to share licensed software, such as ROMs of video games, the question of the emulator is more complicated, but nintendo affirm that Dolphin is illegal. But as the Japanese manufacturer is well known for its fight against emulation, Valve didn’t want to get into a long legal battle that he could lose: Dolphin won’t come out on Steampoint.
