Domingo has announced the formation of a new collective, the OG’S, composed of notable League of Legends content creators. This fresh lineup includes Sakor in Top Lane, Tweekz as Jungle, Domingo in Mid Lane, Wakz in Bot Lane, and Étoiles as Support. While entertainment is a key focus, the team aims to compete in LAN events, seeking opportunities after a canceled December event. They plan to host training streams, starting with their first session on November 11 at 8 PM on Domingo’s Twitch channel.
The OG’S: A New Era for Stream Teams
During last night’s stream, Domingo shared exciting news about his latest endeavor. He has officially revealed the formation of the OG’S, a new collective of prominent content creators from the League of Legends community. Unlike the original Stream Team that operated from 2017 to 2018, which included talents like GoB_GG, Doigby, Shaunz, Nono, and DFG, this lineup is entirely fresh. Here’s a breakdown of the team members:
- Top Lane: Sakor (also known as LRB) – A co-founder of Solary, Sakor brings years of experience from Eclypsia. Fans can expect to see his signature champions like Riven, Renekton, and the beloved Sejuani (nicknamed Madame Porc).
- Jungle: Tweekz – Having cast for Millenium, Eclypsia, O’Gaming, and OTP, Tweekz is set to shine in the jungle role. His impressive performances during the EU face-off tournament in 2020 with The French Zoo are still memorable.
- Mid Lane: Domingo – Naturally, Domingo will take his place in the mid lane, ready to demonstrate his expertise with champions like Xerath, Jayce, and Vex, while also hinting at new picks he’s been practicing.
- Bot Lane: Wakz – Regarded as potentially the strongest player on the roster, Wakz will lead the team’s efforts in the bot lane.
- Support: Étoiles – An experienced multigaming streamer and passionate League of Legends player, Étoiles is dedicated to aiding his team’s success, with a keen eye on playing Bard.
This new initiative is reminiscent of the original Stream Team led by Domingo, which aimed to blend entertainment with a solid level of gameplay, featuring players ranging from emerald/platinum to Diamond/Master ranks.
Aiming for LAN Events
What are the aspirations of the OG’S? While entertainment remains a priority for these content creators, as mentioned at the conclusion of the announcement video, the main aim is to participate in LAN events.
Echoing the experiences of the former Stream Team at Lyon e-Sport in 2017, the OG’S are eager to engage in similar opportunities. Domingo clarified on stream that a LAN event scheduled for December has been canceled (or at least their participation in it). Nevertheless, the team is determined to find alternative LAN opportunities in the upcoming months, and if necessary, Domingo plans to arrange a tournament featuring various content creator teams.
Regardless, the OG’S are committed to hosting a series of training streams to prepare for their competitive journey. At the end of the announcement video, Domingo cordially invites everyone to tune in for their first training session on Monday, November 11, at 8 PM on his Twitch channel!
