A passionate journalist, for over 10 years I have been carrying out investigations, portraits, reports and interviews.

Since 2005, Dominique Farrugia has been in perfect love with Isabelle. Although he experiences some health problems on a daily basis due to his multiple sclerosis, the actor and producer can count on the unfailing support of his beloved, who has never given up on him. On the occasion of his birthday, the ex-member of Les Nuls reserved a very beautiful frame for him on Instagram.

The years that pass in no way affect the love that Dominique Farrugia has for his dear and tender Isabelle. Married since January 2005, the two lovebirds are preparing to celebrate their porcelain wedding in a few months. But before that, the comedian and ex-member of Les Nuls wanted to wish his sweetheart a happy public birthday, and to thank her for always being there for him despite the illness:Happy birthday my darling wife!!! We’ve loved each other and laughed together for 20 years. I want 20 more years“, he wrote on Instagram, posting a nice photo of their still intact complicity.

A couple for more than twenty years, Dominique and Isabelle Farrugia were united on January 22, 2005 in the presence of their friend Alain Chabat. Isabelle works as communications director For Alain Afflelou. Out of love for his beauty, the creator of the Comedy channel, which launched the career of Cyril Hanouna in particular, did not hesitate for a second to convert to Judaism. Together, the two lovebirds became the parents in March 2008 of Miathen two years later, in August 2010, Zoe.

An illness that handicaps her, but Isabelle is there

For more than thirty years, Dominique Farrugia fights tirelessly against multiple sclerosisan autoimmune disease that he described with modesty and frankness in his autobiographical novel She never left me published in 2022. Secretary General of the Union for the Fight against Multiple Sclerosis, the sixty-year-old is trying to maintain your professional activities despite the symptoms and his deteriorated health. On a wheelchair for several years, he is a regular columnist on Camille Combal’s show Camille & Imagesbroadcast on TF1 every Tuesday evening.

If the disease is present on a daily basis, Isabelle is just as much, and never let go. MS is a degenerative disease that progresses in flares, and includes a very broad spectrum of symptoms, such as vision problems, difficulty walking or maintaining balance, difficulty thinking clearly, numbness or weakness in the arms and legs called paresthesias, muscle stiffness, sexual and/or urinary disorders, intense fatigue called asthenia, or even nervous disorders which can lead to depression or generalized anxiety… Unfortunately, although easily detectable with simple brain and spinal MRIs, Multiple sclerosis remains an orphan disease to this daythat is to say without curative treatment.
