Donald Trump is no longer welcome on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Now he has announced his own online network.

Former US President Donald Trump (75) is founding a new media company, as he announced. He also wants to start his own social media platform in November. In a statement by the Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) according to media reports, the company’s mission is to fight back against the “big tech” companies of Silicon Valley.

The first project of the new company is the social network called “Truth Social”. It will start in November as a test version for “invited guests”. It should go online nationwide at the beginning of 2022. “We live in a world where the Taliban are very present on Twitter, but your favorite American president has been silenced. That is unacceptable,” Trump said in a statement. A video service should also be planned.

He is no longer allowed to post in the major social networks

Trump was banned from Facebook and Twitter at the beginning of the year after he allegedly contributed to the violent storming of the Capitol in Washington on January 6, 2021 with allegedly inciting news. He is also not allowed to share messages on Instagram.

In May, the ex-president temporarily launched his own short message blog “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump”. After just one month, the platform was taken offline again.
