Donald Trump could move permanently to his Florida property after his tenure. The neighbors there absolutely want to prevent that.

The presidency of Donald Trump (74, "How to Get Rich") in the USA will end next month and with it his departure from the White House is due. A move to Palm Beach, Florida could follow. The local residents want to prevent this and have now written a letter to the city in which they demand that the current president should not move permanently to his Mar-a-Lago property. This is reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail", among others.

According to this, Trump changed his official address from Trump Tower in New York to the Mar-a-Lago property last year. A permanent move into the villa violates an agreement from 1993. At that time, the entrepreneur converted the property into a private club in order to make it more profitable for himself. In return, the City of Palm Beach asked him to sign an agreement stating that no club member could stay in the villa for more than seven nights at a time. So if Trump were to move into Mar-a-Lago, he would break this agreement.

He himself is given 21 days in the agreement. But the US President spent around 130 days in the villa this year. On those days there were closings of roads and traffic jams due to security measures. His helicopter trips, which are also not actually allowed, caused a stir. The neighbors around Mar-a-Lago do not want to tolerate such inconveniences permanently in the future.
