Allegedly, the Covid disease of the former US President Donald Trump is said to have been much more serious than previously known.

Former US President Donald Trump (74) was allegedly more seriously ill with Covid-19 in October than was announced to the public at the time. The "New York Times" reports. After being infected with the coronavirus, Trump had "at one point an extremely low blood oxygen saturation" and had a lung problem in connection with pneumonia caused by the coronavirus, "the newspaper writes, citing four people who are therefore aware of the state of health of the then president knew about it.

There was even apparently concern that Trump would need a ventilator before he was rushed from the White House to the Walter Reed Military Hospital on October 2. He allegedly initially refused to go to the clinic, only when employees had told him that the secret service could take him to the hospital if he did not go voluntarily, he said. The public was said to have been hiding how badly the president was ill, according to the New York Times.

According to the report, a source close to the ex-president denied that there was a serious illness. The medication that the 74-year-old was given in the hospital caused speculation in October that Trump was more seriously ill. He returned to the White House on October 5th.
