Before he became president, Donald Trump campaigned in the private Boeing 757. The machine is now to be overhauled.

Former US President Donald Trump (74) has announced that he will have his Boeing 757 overhauled. He used the machine to travel to his rallies in 2016 during the election campaign. During his presidency, however, he switched to “Air Force One” and Trump’s Boeing was parked north of New York.

Trump and his “beautiful Boeing 757”

“Many people have asked about the beautiful Boeing 757 that became so iconic during the Trump rallies,” announced the 74-year-old in a message. He was therefore not allowed to use the plane during his presidency. Now the machine should be overhauled and be able to take off again before the end of the year.

Trump emphasizes that the aircraft, which previously belonged to Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen (1952-2018) and which he acquired in 2011, comes from Rolls Royce. In addition, the Boeing should be repainted. When the work is completed, the machine will be “better than ever” and will also be used at upcoming rallies. Trump had previously at least not ruled out possibly wanting to run again in 2024.
