Donald Trump (74) practices understatement: at an election campaign event in the state of North Carolina, the US President admitted that he was not the most famous person in the world. One person would outshine him: Jesus Christ. Trump literally: "The other day someone said to me you are by far the most famous person in the world. I said: no! I'm not." When asked, he said who would surpass him: "Jesus Christ!"
He would rather not take any chances with this assessment, thought Trump and caused laughter among his supporters with his comment. Then, looking up at the sky, Trump added, "And let me look up and say I'm not even close." Trump repeatedly describes himself as a devout Christian, his favorite book is the Bible. Critics claim, however, that he actually has nothing to do with religion, only vying for votes from devout Americans with such statements.
