Donald Trump: that's behind his wobbly appearance

US President Donald Trump celebrated his 74th birthday on Sunday – supposedly at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. But he also pursued another favorite activity at the weekend: he seems to have spent a lot of time on Twitter. There he defended, among other things, an appearance that had previously caused a sensation.

After a speech at the West Point Military Academy, Trump was ridiculed on social media, and other users were concerned about his health. The reason: In a short video that is circulating on the Internet, you can see him walking off the stage via a ramp. The clip showshow the President still holds on to the top, and then moves very hesitantly and with small steps down. In another video of the appearance he seems to be unable to bring a glass of water to his mouth.

Trump says that

Trump once criticized his predecessor Barack Obama (58) for how he moved: "The way President Obama runs down Air Force 1 stairs and bounces all the way is so inelegant and inappropriate for a president Trump wrote in 2014 – and added, "Don't fall!" Trump was accused of this after his appearance at West Point.

However, the US president had an explanation for his wobbly appearance: "The ramp that I went down after my speech at West Point was very long and steep, had no railing, and was especially slippery. The last thing I do wanted to fall to make the fake news fun, " he tweeted. He even ran the last three meters.
