DonnerSzenen in winter – heart-warming for Advent in Klagenfurt

They are an absolutely successful product and find their atmospheric continuation with a small, fine winter variant: The DonnerSzenen in Advent as a heartwarming and contemplative series of events, which will play on three Klagenfurt inner courtyards, a church and a gallery in the run-up to Christmas.

Weisenbläser, jazz, choirs, literature, theater and children’s program promises the “quiet” entertainment thunder on Thursdays (between 4 and 7 pm), which starts on November 25th and is opened with the gentle songs of the “Tubes from Carinthia” in the courtyard.

Great program
And that’s not all: In the courtyard, the Ehrfeld family’s coat of arms is framed to kick off accordionist Maurizio de Luca Alois Brandstetter’s “Journey through Life”, top-class jazz in the parish church of St. Egid, Carinthia’s sax star Wolfgang Puschnig, in harmony with cellist Asja Valcic, at Alten Platz ( Bamberghof) Julia and Philipp Fellner (harmonica, trombone) give alpine opportunities for improvisation, while actor Maximilian Achatz, accompanied by the Duo Manjana, lights up children’s eyes while reading in the city gallery.

“First and Last Poems”
On December 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, Nadine Zeintl & Oliver Vollmann will perform their own texts and songs, “First and Last Poems” by Fabjan Hafner, “Das Neinhorn” for children and Tonč Feinig on the organ Program.
