Alexis wanted to mark the occasion. For his entry on the set of “Don’t forget the lyrics”, the candidate did not arrive empty-handed, or rather with empty pockets. Indeed, on Thursday June 23, 2022, he showed up with a toothbrush in his jacket pocket, in a nod to an old show presented by Nagui. “When I was young, in 1994/1995, the first program I watched with my parents said that you should not forget your toothbrush”remarked the Cynthia challenger. “And you weren’t shocked by all the nonsense we were doing?“, then asked the host. As a reminder, in the 90s, Nagui hosted an entertainment program called “N’oublie pas les mots” for which Jean-luc Reichmann did the voice-over. “I found it very funny, and that’s what made me want to go on TV one day”replied the candidate.

If he deeply touched Nagui with this pretty wink on television, Alexis on the other hand had much less impact on the musical side. Indeed, the man from Haute-Savoie failed to beat Cynthia the mastro. She who plans to donate part of her winnings to an association has again climbed to the final. Alexis, who interpreted “We are here” by Matt Pokora on his arrival, thus left empty-handed but with stars in his eyes. One thing is certain: he was able to meet his idols. “My god, there are three vestiges there. You were there too François. You can imagine… There is also Gérard Pullicino who is making the show.
