DONTNOD changes look and name to become DON’T NOD

DONTNOD, the development studio, and recently publisher, is taking advantage of its 14th anniversary to get a makeover. No worries about the pronunciation which does not change but you must now write DON’T NOD. Naturally, a new logo was created for the occasion.

“Don’t nod your head”

Known for its popular narrative games such as Life is Strange or vampire, DON’T NOD quickly developed to become more independent by publishing its own games, but also those of other creators sharing the same vision. For the occasion, the firm offers itself a brand new site and a new logo whose meaning is explained to us:

With this logo, we wanted to reintroduce the apostrophe and the space between “DON’T” and “NOD”, in order to give full meaning to the name “DON’T NOD”. DON’T NOD is made up of two words that represent, as a company and in the games we create, our tendency to be unafraid to go against the grain and break the codes, also illustrated by the D broken and the N visible inside.

Oscar Guilbert, CEO of DON’T NOD also tells us this:

“I’m very proud of DON’T NOD’s journey over the past 14 years. The studio has evolved in many ways, with a strong desire to lead the way, creating and editing projects that resonate and empower our talents and players with the power to inspire change, no matter how small- it, through original stories that everyone can identify with. This new visual overhaul will help us convey the core of our identity. »

DONT’NOD is also taking advantage of this anniversary to tease us with 7 new projects through a video featuring this magnificent logo. It’s up to you to guess what it is, but we should probably have news for at least one of them during this month of June which promises to be very rich in terms of video games.
