This poignant narrative game is set in the small Danish village of Tinglev during World War II and the German occupation. It is inspired by real facts that Hans von Knut Skovfoged, Head of Development at PortaPlay, learned from his grandmother, a member of the Danish resistance. Players will walk in the footsteps of Gerda Larsen, unexpected heroine, who will have to arm herself with courage and determination when her life suddenly changes.
As she returns from the clinic where she works as a nurse, Gerda notices blood outside her home and discovers her husband, Anders, in the hands of the Gestapo; the latter is then arrested. He left behind important documents regarding the Resistance and it seems that many Danish and German lives now depend on Gerda’s next actions.
A war story told, not on the front line, but in the intimate setting of the Danish village in which she grew up.
