As Doom, the father of FPS, prepares to celebrate its 30th anniversary, a fan had fun running the cult game on anything and everything. Or at least, on all devices capable of doing so. Yes, Doom on the screen of an exercise bike is possible.
Doom, the cult game that gave birth to the FPS genre, is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. For the occasion, X user Father Christmas, a retro-gaming fan and an inveterate collector, amused to run the id Software title on all machines capable of doing so.
The result was a long thread on the social network, rather amusing and surprising. Thus, the shooter can obviously work on an impressive number of devices such as:

Wearing Doom on anything and everything, a long tradition
The list is still long. Of course, the user took the opportunity to slip a few fakes into this long thread, like Doom on a belt, on a nail or on a broom.
As a reminder, this is not the first time that a Doom lover and tinkerer at heart has fun porting the game to an unlikely device. In August 2023, the owner of a Raspberry Pi managed to run the game on a keyboard key! Another managed to run Doom in Notepad on Windows, while a hacker hijacked an Ikea smart bulb to launch Doom on a homemade miniature console.
