Alessija Lause will support the investigative team in the future

The Dortmund “Tatort” family is growing: Alessija Lause alias Ira Klasnić is the new one in the team. WDR has now confirmed this.
Alessija Lause will “expand” the “crime scene” cosmos
“The character Ira Klasnić (Alessija Lause) will expand our “crime scene” cosmos and bring a new perspective to the murder squad,” WDR editor Frank Tönsmann announced in a statement. Alessija Lause (43) will be seen in the “upcoming cases” alongside the investigator duo Peter Faber (Jörg Hartmann, 54) and Rosa Herzog (Stefanie Reinsperger, 36) as well as “the other team members of the Dortmund police department”.
Lause’s role as Ira Klasnić made her first appearance last Sunday in Okon’s farewell episode “Tatort: Cash” with almost eight million viewers. However, the chief inspector from the “Undercover Investigations” department caused a lot of unrest in the new case. When asked, the station is not yet revealing what will happen to Klasnić in the future.
Plenty of crime experience
Alessija Lause comes from Bad Aibling in Bavaria and has Croatian roots. As an actress, she has already gained a lot of crime experience, including in 2012 alongside Maria Furtwängler (57) in “Tatort: Das goldenen Band”, in the television film “Kommissar Marthaler – Angel of Death” (2015) or in “SOKO Köln” (2018) and “SOKO Wismar” (2018). In 2019 she was seen in Magdeburg’s “Polizeiruf 110: Ten Roses”. In 2019 she appeared in “Tatort: Bomb Business”. She also appeared in front of the camera for “Der Bergdoktor – Ein Last Lied” (2016) and for the television series “Behind Bars – Der Frauenknast” (2006-2007).
