Double murder – bloody deed in Villach: witch psychiatrist as expert

He has already examined the murder witches from Villach, Margit T. and Barbara H., and found them dangerous. Now the well-known Viennese court psychiatrist Peter Hofmann is looking at another suspected murderer in Carinthia: Alina S. (37), the woman who suspected of having run over and killed her rival and her five-year-old son in Villach at the end of January.

Hoffmann should check the sanity of the suspects – and maybe find out what drove the previously blameless and successful Romanian to commit the insanity. As reported, she herself has already confessed. Jealousy and obsession with her ex-husband, the father of little Samuel, were probably the motive. Stalking and suicide attempts are said to have preceded the terrible decision to take two lives. She doesn’t want to tell too much about the course of events herself. “She also refuses to reconstruct the crime,” confirms Markus Kitz from the Klagenfurt public prosecutor’s office. However, the technical report of a motor vehicle expert now reveals how the drama probably played out: the woman had ambushed the victims in her car on the street, had stepped on the gas and had them in the 30 zone at around 60 kilometers per Hour run over and killed. “The speed doesn’t seem that high, but it’s a very short acceleration distance,” says Kitz. The findings of forensic medicine and those of psychiatrist Hofmann are now exciting. It will probably be a few months before charges are brought.
