Doug Liman (54) should take off with Tom Cruise (57). The director, who has worked with the Hollywood star on "Edge of Tomorrow" (2014) and "Barry Seal: Only in America" (2017), is said to be the director of the previously top-secret film Cruise is developing. The Hollywood Reporter reports, citing insiders. The project should therefore be at least partially produced in space.
When the strip could be turned is still unclear. Nothing is known about the plot, either, but Liman is said to write the script. Together with Cruise, he will also be on board as a producer. Elon Musk's (48) SpaceX company and NASA apparently are also involved in the project. "NASA is looking forward to working with Tom Cruise on a movie aboard the space station!"
