Downton Abbey 2 trailer: a new secret for this film adapted from the series


The trailer for ‘Downton Abbey II: A New Era’ has just been released. The feature film that follows the television series will be released in our theaters on April 27.

Head to the south of France for the Crawleys! After receiving the American members of their family in the first film which followed the famous television series, the British family finds themselves in a French Villa from which Violet (Maggie Smith) has inherited an old love.

Which will also give rise to many questions from her clan and the meeting of the family with Violet’s French friend played by Nathalie Baye, who we also see in the trailer. alongside the Belgian actor Jonathan Zaccaï.

At the same time, Downton Abbey is being used as a filming location for a silent feature film, which will have everyone in the house in awe!

Maggie Smith, Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville, Elizabeth McGovern, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan and Laura Carmichael return to the cast of this sequel and are joined by newcomers Hugh Dancy, Dominic West and Laura Haddock.

Still written by Julian Fellowes, the creator of the series, the film is this time directed by Simon Curtis (My Week with Marilyn, La Femme au tableau). The first feature film earned 238 million dollars worldwide, and attracted 742,509 spectators in France.
