Dr. Johannes Wimmer: The grave for his daughter has already been chosen

For Dr. Johannes Wimmer, the world is turning a little slower at the moment. His daughter Maximilia is seriously ill and her death is imminent. That's why the TV doctor has already selected the grave.

Maximilia is just eight months. And it won't get much older either, that's for sure. The daughter of TV doctor Dr. Johannes Wimmer, 37, will die. Maximilia is terminally ill and has a brain tumor that cannot be treated. Everything is already prepared for your last trip.

Dr. Joahnnes Wimmer is preparing for the worst

In mid-October, Dr. Johannes Wimmer and his wife Clara made the incurable illness of their daughter public. We had shared with the public that there was no longer any hope for Maximilia. They have now brought their baby home to enjoy the last few moments with her and then to say goodbye to her at home. And that includes choosing a nice final resting place for the eight-month-old girl. "We currently have to plan the way and the end of the trip," explains Wimmer in an interview with the moderator Bettina Tietjen on "DAS!". Together they had already chosen "a nice new place for a family grave," the TV doctor added.

Experience shared moments

It's hard to imagine what Dr. Johannes Wimmer, who became known through the NDR show "Visite" and then got his own TV show "Dr. Wimmer – Knowledge is the best medicine", and his wife Clara currently has to go through. Whether it's the drama, the parents know exactly what is best for their little Clara now. They made a conscious decision against having Maximilia treated any further. "Chemotherapy makes no sense. That would be an unnecessary burden for her. In medicine, there is the golden rule: do not do any harm first. And when I see how she is doing now, I have to honestly say that I cannot answer to drag her through chemo. " And so it is now said to enable Maximilia a dignified farewell. A beautiful final resting place has already been found.
