Last year, during the Battle Hour 2023, Bandai Namco surprised the players by making a new game official Budokai TenkaichiOr Sparkling! for the Japanese name of this series. We had to wait until the ceremony of Game Awards last December to discover the very first trailer for the one who will be called worldwide DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO and whose first extracts from gameplay feasted the eyes, confirming to roster Goku And Vegeta can be changed into Super Saiyajin Blue, Friezathe version DBS of Broly, Piccolo, Krillin, Tenshinhan, Yamcha, Trunks (as it appears in the sagas cell And Trunks of the future), C-18, Perfect Cell, Mr. Satan, Majin Buu, Bergamo, C-17 And Jiren. For the Battle Hour 2024it’s a trailer focusing on the two rivals that we all love which has been released and which once again gives us a real slap in the face.
The video gives pride of place to all of their transformationsconfirming that we will be able to play with Vegeta as it appears at the beginning of DBZcapable of transforming into Ozaruwhile Goku will have the Kaiōken. The different stages of evolution of Super Saiyajin they will all be there, including SSJ3 which is incredibly beautiful and even the SSGSS Kaioken, with the appropriate outfits worn by the characters throughout the different arcs. However, the publisher undoubtedly keeps some on hand, since theUltra Instinct is not shown and it would be surprising if it were not there. The visual and destruction effects are a real treat!
Note that Bandai Namco still specifies “Budokai Tenkaichi Series”, to believe that the choice to keep the Japanese title in the West was not such a good idea from a marketing point of view. Finally, you will notice that all the characters and shapes already confirmed appear on the grid visible at the end of the video. The latter has 164 boxeswhich promises a roster quite huge depending on what will or will not be treated as a full-fledged transformation.
Unfortunately, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO has not been dated, so we will have to be patient, but we have no doubt that the coming months will be full of announcements concerning its roster.
