Last month, bandai namco announced the results of community votes for the next playable character in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2to know Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-). Yes, there was reason to be disappointed, until this weekend. In effect, an article from the official website dragonball introduced another warrior who will be present in theAwakened Warrior Pack this summer and which was also among the possible choices offered to players. It is therefore Dyspo from Pride Troopers of the’Universe 11 who was also chosen!

From the ranks of the heroic Pride Troopers of Universe 11, the supersonic warrior Dyspo in Xenoverse 2! When it comes to speed, no other warrior can match Dyspo- even the light itself remains in the dust!
And since he’ll be joining the game as a playable character, all that speed is yours! Close the distance between you and your enemies in the blink of an eye and unleash Dyspo’s wide array of attacks before they know what hit them! His Awakening Skill “Supersonic Mode” Further increases his movement speed and buffs certain attacks at the cost of constant Ki drain, so knowing when and where to use it will be key to victory with this character!

But that’s not all, because additional free content will be added via an update: a dragon mascot Icarus related to Gohan and figurines for fashion Hero Colosseum representing the two added characters. You will note that according to the numbering, at least a third unannounced miniature should be part of the lot, so perhaps a 3rd fighter playable in DLCs who knows.
New Capsule Corporation mascot: Icarus
A new face joins Bulma’s Capsule Corporation line of mascots! Players made their voices heard in Conton City’s vote to decide which mascot would be added to the game next, and the one who rose to the top was Icarus! Making his Dragon Ball debut in the 1990 film Dragon Ball Z: The Best Fight, Icarus is a dragon who befriended Gohan as a child. In Xenoverse 2, Icarus’ dance animation was designed to recreate his adorable mannerisms from the 1991 movie, Dragon Ball Z: The Namekian Menace!
Icarus will be available in two special colors “Gohan (Youth) Colors and Demon Clan Colors” along with their original color scheme.
New miniatures are coming to the Hero Colosseum
The Hero Colosseum is taking Conton City by storm! It’s a game mode inside Xenoverse 2 where you can fight with almost 700 figures of Dragon Ball characters! Joining this time the list of characters, the two characters selected by the players during a previous vote of Conton City: Goku (Ultra Instinct -Sign-) and Dyspo.
All this will land this summer on a date still unknown in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2still on sale at Amazon in its basic edition at €19.90 on PS4.
