Unveiled in a short teaser last May, Dragon Quest Treasures offers new images on Nintendo Switch and even reveals a release date. If you are a fan of DragonQuest and treasure hunt lover, you will no doubt be interested.

Dragon Quest Treasures is a spin-off of the famous RPG saga where we will follow the adventures of a brother and a sister: Erik and Mia. Two protagonists discovered in Dragon Quest XI. Both explore the world aboard their Viking ship until they cross a mysterious place full of treasures called Draconia.
The title describes itself as a semi-open-world action-rpg (from what we observe) where it will obviously be necessary to find a maximum of hidden treasures. To find them, you can help yourself from the monsters that accompany you. By activating your compass, you can order monsters to search nearby chests to then see through their eyes, and finally find the exact location. They will also be useful for you to move around like the “Slime” which allows you to reach heights by bouncing on them or even by riding monsters to move around.
Without forgetting the fights that will be here in real time for some treasures will be heavily guarded. Once back at your base, you can then evaluate your finds and increase your hunter rank accordingly. Dragon Quest Treasures will be released on December 9 on Nintendo Switch.
